Job Summary:

Alchelyst are excited to recruit an Investor Services Specialist to lead our Boston Investor Services Team and drive the next stage of our growth. We are seeking an experienced candidate to oversee the operational management of our Transfer Agency team. The role involves leading end-to-end workflows — including investor onboarding, AML, dealing, payments, bank account reconciliation, and reporting — while ensuring regulatory compliance and consistently delivering to client service standards. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Global Transfer Agency Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and control the daily workflow of the Transfer Agency team, ensuring smooth execution of all core functions. Lead and manage a team, including training, performance management, recruitment, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.

- Partner with colleagues in Ireland, Luxembourg, and India as part of the Global Transfer Agency Team to share best practices, drive global process improvements, and deliver a unified client experience.

- Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards, including AML, KYC, and data protection requirements.

- Drive process improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and mitigate operational risks.

- Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, transaction volumes, and compliance metrics.

- Represent the team in internal partner meetings, ensuring service standards are upheld and follow-up items are addressed promptly.

- Contribute to strategic planning for the Transfer Agency, including market expansion, new service offerings, and adoption of new technologies.

- Support the implementation and maintenance of technology systems for transfer agency operations.

- Participate in new client pitches, presentations, and demonstrations.

- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, meetings, and service reviews

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of five years’ transfer agency experience, including at least two years in a managerial or operational leadership role. Strong knowledge of investor onboarding, AML, dealing, payments, reconciliation, and reporting, with proficiency in transfer agency software systems.

- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, motivate and promote change, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across global locations.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information, engage stakeholders, and resolve issues proactively.

- Highly organized, self-motivated, risk- and control-aware, with strong judgment, innovative thinking, and a willingness to continuously learn new markets, products, and processes.
