Alchelyst, a leading end-to-end fund service provider, today confirmed its intention to establish a base in Wexford in 2026 , as it expands its Irish presence.

Alchelyst was founded in Ireland in 2023 by Joan Kehoe, Ian Lynch and Brian Fitzgerald. Earlier this year it was announced that alchelyst would merge with Lyra Client Solutions (“Lyra”), a technology-enabled client servicing organization spun out from Apollo (NYSE: APO), to form a next-generation private markets servicing platform. That transaction is expected to close in the coming weeks, subject to customary closing conditions.

Joan Kehoe, CEO confirmed that “alchelyst is embarking on a period of significant expansion. To enable that growth we are at an advanced stage of exploring options to establish a base in Wexford. We will be seeking talented individuals with fund accounting, investor relations, loan servicing, corporate services, and wider financial services experience to join our team.”
The South East is a familiar location for Kehoe and Fitzgerald, who previously set up and grew PFPC in Wexford, which was subsequently sold to BNY Mellon. Kehoe emphasised that “we know there is incredible financial services talent in the South East - that made it the natural place to expand our business in Ireland”.
